Carl E. Feulner, age 83, of Batavia, passed away on September 7, 2023. He was born in Aurora, IL on April 2, 1940 to John and Florence (Hayward) Feulner. Carl was a 1958 graduate of West Chicago Community High School. After graduating from high school, he went on to study electronics at DeVry University. Carl went on to work for Westinghouse in Baltimore, Maryland as an environmental tester of product parts and then came back to Illinois to work for Packard Instruments in Downers Grove. He went on to work for 28 years at Electro-Motive Division of General Motors as a locomotive tester. After retiring from GM, Carl worked for the Union Pacific Railroad as a locomotive electrical mechanical Technician. He enjoyed traveling and even traveled to Iceland.

Carl is survived by his daughters, Holly (Richard) Graham and Jeanine (Scott) Wilson; grandchildren, Charlotte and John Henry Graham and Shelby and David Wilson and relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 13, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Norris-Segert Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 132 Fremont St., West Chicago (One block north of Washington St. & Main St). Funeral services on Thursday, September 14, 2023 at the funeral home at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Glen Oak Cemetery in West Chicago.
