Traffic in all directions was affected Thursday, August 24th when a tanker truck apparently rolled over in next door Winfield, Illinois. The intersection at Roosevelt Road (Route 38) and Winfield Road was blocked for several hours. Traffic was slowed traveling west toward West Chicago on Roosevelt Road as well.
According to the Village of Winfield, and the Winfield Police Department, a tanker truck was been involved in a vehicle accident . Some fuel was spilled and another tanker arrived on scene to transfer the remaining fuel so the tipped truck could be righted and removed. The intersection is now cleared

El tráfico en todas direcciones se vio afectado el jueves 24 de agosto cuando un camión cisterna aparentemente volcó en la vecina ciudad de Winfield, Illinois. La intersección en Roosevelt Road/Ruta 38 estuvo bloqueada durante varias horas. El tráfico también se redujo en dirección oeste hacia West Chicago en Roosevelt Road.

Según la aldea de Winfield y el Departamento de Policía de Winfield, un camión cisterna estuvo involucrado en un accidente automovilístico. Se derramó algo de combustible y otro camión cisterna llegó al lugar para transferir el combustible restante y poder enderezar y retirar el camión volcado. La intersección ya está despejada.
