NOTICE TO BIDDERS The City of West Chicago will accept sealed bid proposals for the 2025 DELIVERY OF HYDRATED LIME for the City of West Chicago, Illinois until 11:00 a.m. local time on Thursday, October 17, 2024. All bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at 11:00 a.m. at the West Chicago Water Treatment Plant, 1400 W. Hawthorne Lane, West Chicago, Illinois, 60185. Please note that if you are submitting a proposal via the U.S. Postal Service, address your submittal to the City of West Chicago, 475 Main Street, West Chicago, Illinois 60185. All bid proposals are to be made on the forms provided and will be made a part of the contract documents to be executed with the City. Bid proposals are to be received in a sealed 9″x12″ or 10″x13′ envelope. The envelope shall be marked: “Proposal – Water Treatment Plant Chemicals – 2025 DELIVERY OF HYDRATED LIME, and the name of the bidder” – Digital bidding documents are available through the Quest Construction Data Network web site at www.questcdn.com, or through a link on the City of West Chicago web site (www.westchicago.org). You may download the digital bid documents for Quest Project #9328369 at a cost of $22.00. Please contact Quest at (952) 233-1632 or info@questcdn.com for assistance in free membership registration, downloading, and working with the digital project information. Paper copies of the bidding documents are not available at the City of West Chicago. No bidder may withdraw his/her bid after the scheduled closing time for a period of ninety (90) days. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bid proposals, to waive any informality in any bid proposal, to readvertise the proposed services, and to accept the proposal most advantageous to the City.
