GENEVA, IL — The Swedish Days Festival in Geneva is serving up something new this year—a pickleball tournament! For the first time in the event’s decades-long history, players of the fast-growing sport will get a chance to compete on Thursday, June 19, right on Third Street in downtown Geneva.
The tournament will feature two divisions: Women’s Only from 8:00 to 9:30 a.m., and Men’s Only from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. Registration is $25 per person and includes a tournament T-shirt and refreshments. Participants must register individually by 7 p.m. on Sunday, June 1.
Whether you’re a seasoned pickleball pro or just love a good sports centric event, this is a great way to be part of one of the area’s most iconic summer festivals.

GENEVA, IL — El querido festival Swedish Days de Geneva trae una novedad este año: ¡un torneo de pickleball! Por primera vez en la larga historia de este popular evento, los aficionados a este deporte en crecimiento podrán competir el jueves 19 de junio, justo en la calle Third Street del centro de Geneva.
El torneo contará con dos divisiones: solo mujeres de 8:00 a 9:30 a.m. y solo hombres de 9:30 a 11:00 a.m. El costo de inscripción es de $25 por persona e incluye una camiseta del torneo y refrigerios. Cada participante debe registrarse de forma individual antes de las 7 p.m. del domingo 1 de junio.
