Beverly Willis Obituary Aunt Neecie Obituary

Beverly J. Willis; age 76, beloved wife of Charles P. Willis for 51 years, loving mother of Marcus (Nicole), Marvin, Tonda (Tony), Dorian and Eric, cherished grandmother of more than a dozen grandchildren, dear sister of Gerald, Rodney (Myra), Robert and the late Genella, Birdie Mae, Herbert, Dwight, Lee and Billy (Ollie Mae), preceded in death by her parents Geneva and Herbert Bass, loving aunt to a host of many nieces and nephews.

Beverly was born in Union City, Tennessee. A proud graduate of Miles High, also in Union City, Tennessee. She worked and retired as a school bus aid for Septran and then began a home day care for a gangle of children who also called her “Aunt Neecie.” Beverly was well known for being outgoing, very loving, very talkative, kind hearted, selfless, a lover of plants and animals and famous for giving everybody a nickname.

Visitation for Beverly will be Thursday morning July 3, from 9:00 AM until time of services 10:00 AM at Williams-Kampp Funeral Home (430 E. Roosevelt Rd. in Wheaton, IL.) The family will be wearing one of her favorite colors, purple. If you’d like to please do.

Family and friends are welcome to meet at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery (20953 W. Hoff Rd. in Elwood, IL.) at 2:00 PM where services will begin promptly at 2:30 PM

Beverly J. Willis; de 76 años, amada esposa de Charles P. Willis durante 51 años, amorosa madre de Marcus (Nicole), Marvin, Tonda (Tony), Dorian y Eric, querida abuela de más de una docena de nietos, querida hermana de Gerald, Rodney (Myra), Robert y la difunta Genella, Birdie Mae, Herbert, Dwight, Lee y Billy (Ollie Mae). Beverly nació en Union City, Tennessee. Se graduó con orgullo de Miles High, también en Union City, Tennessee.
