The West Chicago Police Department later confirmed that officers are investigating an incident that occurred at the Jewel-Osco on Roosevelt Road. In a statement posted to the department’s official Facebook page, police said there was a large law enforcement presence in the area but emphasized that the situation was an isolated incident and that there is no ongoing threat to the public.
