Kate Peterson, MSW- Chief of Staff
Kate started in their office as a college intern where she stood out for her love of macro work as well as her commitment to the everyday needs of constituents. She has served in the capacity of constituent service liaison, legislative assistant and she continues to lead with compassion in her current role.
Sebastian Wong- Legislative Assistant
Sebastian recently graduated from Aurora University with a Bachelors in Political Science and Social Work. He was an intern for their office but has also worked for Representative Stephanie Kifowit. His deep understanding of our community coupled with his desire to make change at the macro level makes him a perfect match for this position. He will be happy to greet you when you come visit in Springfield.

Casildo Casey Cuevas- Bilingual Community Service Director.
Casey has lived in Aurora and he absolutely loves his community. The volunteer work he has done in Aurora is too long to list, those who he has helped in difficult times know that he is a trusted ally. He understands the needs of the people who live and work in the 25th district and he listens with compassion to anyone who walks through their office doors in Aurora.
Kylie Lasanska- Community Service Director
When Kylie was finishing her Bachelors degree in Political Science and Government at Arizona State University, she began volunteering for Karina’s campaign. Her attention to detail and positive energy was a valued asset to the team. After she graduated she moved to Springfield to become the Legislative Liaison for their team and they are thrilled to have her in this new role in the West Chicago office.
