The Mexican Culture Center DuPage located at 103 W. Washington St. , West Chicago announces that the exhibition.
“EL HILO COMO CORDON UMBILICAL GRAF” will commence with a reception on Thursday, Oct 26th, starting at 6:00 pm and concluding at 8:00 pm. Food and drinks will be served during the reception.
Exhibition Details:
Following the grand opening, the exhibition will be available for public viewing from October 27th onward, extending throughout the rest of the year.
The MCCD warmly welcomes visitors from Thursday to Sunday, operating from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm. The best part? Admission is entirely free, so don’t miss the chance to experience this inspiring showcase of artistry. We look forward to welcoming you to the exhibition!
Visual artist Iliana Eunice, originally from San Cristóbal De Las Casas, began her artistic journey at the University of Sciences and Arts of Chiapas, where she learned the art of printmaking. With a background in biology and a deep interest in scientific illustration, she found her way to the world of visual arts.
Having conducted art workshops, specializing in watercolor and bookbinding, among others, her recent exhibitions have included “Expo Quetzales, gallery for the environment,” and “Encuentro y Reflexión” organized by Portales del Arte in Chiapas.
This exhibition has received funding from the National Museum of Mexican Art, in collaboration with the National Group, Mexican Cultural Arts Alliance, and Portales del Arte en Chiapas.

Después de la gran apertura, la exposición estará abierta al público desde el 26 de Octubre en adelante, extendiéndose durante el resto del año. ¡Apunta la fecha en tu calendario! La galería recibirá con gusto a los visitantes de jueves a domingo, en horario de 2:00 pm a 6:00 pm. ¿Lo mejor de todo? La entrada es totalmente gratuita, así que ¡no pierdas la oportunidad de vivir esta inspiradora muestra artística! ¡Esperamos darte la bienvenida a la exposición!
La artista visual Iliana Eunice, originaria de San Cristóbal De Las Casas, comenzó su trayectoria artística en la Universidad de Ciencias y Artes de Chiapas, donde aprendió la técnica del grabado. Con una formación previa en biología y un profundo interés en la ilustración científica, encontró su camino en el mundo de las artes visuales.
Ha impartido talleres de arte, especializándose en acuarela y encuadernación, entre otros. Sus exposiciones recientes incluyen “Expo Quetzales, galería por el medio ambiente” y “Encuentro y Reflexión”, esta última organizada por Portales del Arte en Chiapas.
Esta exposición ha recibido financiamiento del Museo Nacional de Arte Mexicano, en colaboración con el Grupo Nacional, la Alianza de Artes Culturales Mexicanas y Portales del Arte en Chiapas.
