The West Chicago Public Library will host a FAFSA Workshop for Students

The Illinois Student Assistance Commission (ISAC) will teach students and parents the basics of the general financial aid process and provide insight into how financial aid works, how to apply for it, student eligibility, and how it can be used to help pay for college. It introduces the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and the Alternative Application for Illinois Financial Aid, along with summarizing state and federal aid programs among other topics.
After the presentation, ISAC will help you create an FSA ID, which will be needed before starting the FASFA process.
