Laura A. Bublitz, age 68 of West Chicago, passed away on February 2, 2024, with family by her side. Beloved wife of 47 years to Scott Bublitz; cherished daughter of the late Charles and Michaelene Costello; dear sister of Charles Costello, Tony (Joni) Costello, Michelle (Patrick Rejnic) Gruber and Michael (Tina) Costello; dear sister-in-law of Keith Bublitz, Jay (Kate) Bublitz, Penny (Bill) Campbell and Craig Bublitz; proud aunt of Michael, Jared, Charles, Jake, Joel, Jeremy, Jazmine, Shannon, Ashley, Zachary, Joren and Steffan; dear great-aunt of Isabella, Romeo, Angelina, Max, Christina, Angela, Tyler and “handsome man” Juju; fond cousin of Karen, Carol and Angelica.
Laura enjoyed sewing and gardening. She loved her cat, Katie. More than anything, Laura loved her family.
A Memorial Visitation for Laura will be held at DuPage Funeral Chapel (951 W. Washington Street, West Chicago) on Saturday, February 10, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
