Pheasant Run – Remnants of what used to be the main tower can be viewed from literally one side through to the other side. Most of the surrounding out-buildings have also been completely razed and nothing remains down to the foundations of the buildings. The once popular resort consisted of a hotel, multiple restaurants, night clubs, a theater, golf course and pools-the height of it’s heyday was the 1950’s through the 1980’s. The resort fell into disrepair , the deconstruction began in 2023 after several major fires were set by arsonists posing multiple safety concerns in the nearby community of St. Charles
