The first day of classes after spring break is Monday, April 1, 2024.
Family Wellness Nights with Healthy West Chicago
District 33 partners with Healthy West Chicago to offer monthly Family Wellness Nights at all of our schools. Families have the opportunity to engage in wellness activities free of charge. Children attend a cooking demonstration hosted by chefs from the Kitchen Table while parents go to the gym to enjoy a Zumba class. Students love cooking healthy meals and taking the recipes home to replicate. This event is open to all District 33 families regardless of the host school. No equipment or registration is needed.
The remaining dates are listed below.
- March 14th at Turner Elementary School
- April 18th at Wegner Elementary School
- May 16th at Gary Elementary
- June 6th at Leman Middle School

SUMMER SCHOOL is open to ALL students currently in Kindergarten through 8th grade. District 33 Accelerated and Enrichment programming will also be running during summer school! This year, summer school’s focus is to increase reading and math skills. Students will engage in reading, writing, and math through STEM and thematic units.
DATES
Monday – Thursday (No school on Fridays)
8:30 AM – 11:30 AM
June 24 – July 25, 2024 (No programming on July 4)
LOCATION
Summer school and Extended School Year programming will be held at Leman Middle School.
TRANSPORTATION
Bus transportation will be provided for those students who qualify.
REGISTRATION
Registration closes Friday, March 22, 2024.

Transportación
El transporte en autobús estará disponible para los estudiantes que califiquen. Los estudiantes de primaria que por lo regular caminan a la escuela Leman NO recibirán transporte escolar.
