Paul D. Hunt, 89, of Winfield. Beloved husband of the late Nancy Sue Hunt; loving father of Paul Jr. (Tigist) and Edwin (Isabelle); cherished grandfather of George, Paul Griffin, Sidney, Sitota, Mikael, and Natali; proud great grandfather of Adam, Maximus, Owen, Lily, Ben, James, Robbie, and Petunia; dear son of the late Edwin D. and Muriel A. Hunt; brother of the late Mary Ella, Rose Jean, Edwin and Muriel; uncle of many nieces and nephews.
Paul was a United States Air Force veteran. And graduate from Thornton Fractional High School and Northwestern University. He had worked as a Laboratory Technician at Argonne National Laboratories and retired from Amoco Research and Development Laboratories. Paul was a Republican Committee man; Park District President and Treasurer; Jaycees Member; and member of assorted Golf Leagues.
Visitation at Williams-Kampp Funeral Home, 430 E. Roosvelt Rd., Wheaton from 9:00 A.M. until time of Funeral Service at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, April 13, 2024. Following the Funeral service family and friends are asked to meet at Homewood Memorial Park Cemetery, 600 Ridge Rd., Homewood, at 1:30 P.M. for graveside services.
