Wego Drama at West Chicago Community High School continues their 23-24 theatrical season
with the hit musical Mean Girls: High School Version on April 25, 26, and 27 th at 7pm. This
comedy is based on the hit Paramount Pictures Film, Mean Girls. It tells the story of Cady
Heron as she journeys from Africa to the true jungle of an American high school. Along the
way, Cady meets “The Plastics” and their leader, Regina George. This production is filled with
silly fun from the mind and pen of Tina Fey. The Wego Drama season theme of “Once More
With Feeling” is perfect for understanding why this story makes a great musical. You don’t
want to miss Mean Girls, because it is so fetch!
Junior Sentia Irakoze states, “Playing an iconic villain is so fun. The laughs and silliness makes
this a great show a great evening for an audience.” Additionally, Senior Francis Moffatt says,
“I’ve loved this show for years. To be a part of it is thrilling. I can’t wait for people to see it.”

Mean Girls: The Musical, High School Edition has a book by Tina Fey, music by Jeff Richmond,
and lyrics by Nell Benjamin. It is based on the Paramount Pictures film Mean Girls. It is
produced by an arrangement with Music Theatre International, New York.
