Tony Reyes Foundation Hosts Santa Visit and Toy Drive on December 2
Mark your calendars for Saturday, December 2, 2024, as the Tony Reyes Foundation invites families to a special holiday event at Hedges Station, 0N555 Winfield Road. From 1:00 to 4:00 p.m., children can visit Santa and have their photo taken with him while enjoying free cookies and hot cocoa. Adding to the festive atmosphere, the West Chicago High School Honors Acapella Chamber Choir will be performing Christmas carols throughout the event.
Attendees are encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped toy to donate to the Ronald McDonald House near Central DuPage Hospital, helping to spread holiday cheer to children in need.
After the event, Santa will make his way into town for the Village Tree Lighting at 4:30 p.m., where additional exciting activities are planned for the community.
The event is supported by the Winfield Historical Society and the Winfield Park District, helping make this a wonderful afternoon of holiday fun for all ages.

Para agregarle un ambiente festivo, el Coro de Cámara Acapella de la Escuela Secundaria de West Chicago interpretará villancicos durante todo el evento.
Se anima a los asistentes a traer un juguete nuevo sin envolver para donarlo a la Casa Ronald McDonald cerca del Hospital Central DuPage, lo que ayudará a difundir la alegría navideña entre los niños necesitados.
Después del evento, Santa se dirigirá a la ciudad para la iluminación del árbol del pueblo a las 4:30 p. m., donde se planean actividades emocionantes adicionales para la comunidad.
El evento cuenta con el apoyo de la Sociedad Histórica de Winfield y el Distrito de Parques de Winfield, lo que ayuda a que esta sea una maravillosa tarde de diversión navideña para todas las edades.
