MaryEllen Christman passed away peacefully on December 23, 2024, surrounded by her loving children and her sister. Born and raised in the Chicagoland area, MaryEllen later spent 25 wonderful years in Venice, Florida, where she found joy in the beach and cherished the beauty of every sunset.
MaryEllen was the proud mother of her two children, Daniel McNevin and Kristy Hogan (McNevin), and a devoted grandmother to her three beloved grandchildren, Sean Hogan, Keira Hogan, and Corrina McNevin.
Known as a master party planner, MaryEllen had an extraordinary talent for creating unforgettable celebrations. Her incredible cooking, artistic table decorations, and handcrafted accents brought joy to countless gatherings. She was also a gifted decorator, crafter, and seamstress, using her creativity and skill to make everything she touched more beautiful and meaningful.
Her kind, loving, and giving soul touched everyone she met, as she was always willing to go out of her way to make others happy. MaryEllen also had a passion for travel and adventure, embracing every opportunity to explore the world and create lasting memories with those she loved.
Her vibrant spirit and generous heart will be deeply missed by all who knew her. MaryEllen’s legacy of love, joy, and creativity will live on in the hearts of her family and friends forever. A private service will take place at a later date.
