Authorities are searching for a woman accused of robbing a convenience store in St. Charles on Sunday evening.
The incident occurred around 8 p.m. at the Mini Mart located at 710 S. 3rd Street. According to the St. Charles Police Department, the woman entered the store and, while waiting for an employee to complete her transaction, pulled out a handgun and demanded cash.
The employee complied, placing an undisclosed amount of money into the woman’s black backpack. The suspect then fled the store on foot, heading north or northwest.
The suspect is described as a Black female dressed entirely in black, including a black face mask and carrying a black backpack. No injuries were reported during the incident.
