Karen Kay Adams, 74, of West Chicago, Illinois, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield, Illinois. Karen was born on March 15, 1951, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, the daughter of Melvin and Marjorie (Conway) Ketelaar.
Karen Survived by her Beloved Daughter’s, Tina (James) Stancel and Tonya (Edwardo) Adams- Santiago.

In addition to her parents, Karen is preceded in death by her grandson Ethan E. Santiago, sister Julie Sojka, and brothers Craig Ketelaar and Tom Ketelaar.
Karen had a generous heart of gold; she lived for and loved her daughters and grandsons dearly. Her 4 grandsons meant everything to her, she loved spending time with them and dedicated every chance she could to being the best grandma. Her family and friends will always be thankful for the gift that was her life. Words cannot describe how much she will be missed.
A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, February 28, 2025, at Annunciation Catholic Church, 1820 Church Rd., Aurora, IL.
