West Chicago, IL– The Community High School District 94 Board of Education proudly announces the approval of the #WeGo2030 Strategic Plan, following a unanimous 7-0 vote at the March 18, 2025 board meeting. This plan marks the district’s first strategic planning initiative in several years and sets a visionary course for the future of the Wildcat Community.
#WeGo2030 is built upon a strong foundation that includes the Portrait of a Graduate, Educator, and Systems, as well as the district’s mission, vision, and core values. This comprehensive plan was developed through a collaborative process involving students, educators, families, and community stakeholders over the past school year.
“This is truly a shining example of what can happen when an entire school community comes together with a common focus. I am so proud of our students, staff, parents and community members who participated in this seven month long process through in person meetings, feedback sessions, surveys and focus groups. I firmly believe that this plan can be a catalyst for meaningful change within our organization to help improve student outcomes and build upon our strong sense of community”, said Dr. Kurt Johansen, Superintendent of CHS District 94.
