Kathryn M. Henning, age 76, of West Chicago, IL, passed away April 1st, 2025, surrounded by family in her home, from natural causes.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband Dale; her parents John and Kathryn McCabe; her brother, Timothy; and her step-son Chris (Amanda). She is survived by her sister Terry (Mike), her brother Patrick (Debbie), her step-son Stephen (Donna) and her sons, Patrick (Nicole) and Ryan (Katherine); and her 7 grandchildren.
Kathy was an avid reader who loved her family and playing with her grandchildren. She was active in her family’s lives, being a great listener who was always there to give advice and being a devoted and doting grandmother. Kathy was a joy to be around and was always quick to strike up a conversation with anyone. She will be missed.
A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday April 12th, 2025 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Norris-Segert Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 132 Fremont St., (one block north of Washington St. and Main St.) West Chicago, IL 60185. A short service will follow visitation at the funeral home at 3:00 p.m. Services will conclude at the funeral home.
