Jane Kaysen (nee Mineo), age 89, of West Chicago, passed away on Saturday, July 19, 2025. She was born on August 8, 1935, in Chicago, IL to Joseph and Mary Mineo. Jane was united in marriage on June 12, 1954, to Henry Kaysen. She worked at the DuPage County courthouse for many years. She was a loving wife, wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Jane is survived by her son, Robert (Carol) Kaysen and daughter, Mary Ann Kaysen; grandchildren, Leanne Clayton, Christopher (Stacey) Kaysen, Timothy Kaysen and Andrew Kaysen; great-grandchildren, Tyler, Michael, Isabella, Emilee, MacKenzie, Brooklynne and Alexander; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Mary; husband, Henry; and sister, Sally (late Ken) Slee.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 23, 2025 at Norris-Segert Funeral Home and Cremation Services , 132 Fremont St.(one block north of Washington St. and Main), West Chicago. A funeral service followed at Lakewood Memorial Park Cemetery in Elgin.
