The countdown is on for the biggest back-to-school celebration of the year! This Monday, August 11, families from across the community are invited to Cantigny Park for an evening of fun, music, and school spirit — all while getting students ready for the year ahead.
Thanks to WeGo Together for Kids, Educare West DuPage, and West Chicago Community High School District 94, the event will feature free backpacks filled with school supplies for Educare West DuPage, D33 (PreK–8), and D94 students. Families can also enjoy kid-friendly activities, music, games, and connect with community resource organizations offering valuable services.
The gates open at 5:30 PM, and families can receive free entry to Cantigny Park simply by telling staff at the gate, “WeGo Together for Kids.” No ID is required — just bring your school spirit and enthusiasm to kick off the new academic year.
This annual event not only equips students with the tools they need to succeed but also brings the community together in celebration of learning, friendship, and opportunity.

¡La cuenta regresiva ha comenzado para la celebración de regreso a clases más grande del año! Este lunes 11 de agosto, las familias de toda la comunidad están invitadas a Cantigny Park para una tarde de diversión, música y espíritu escolar, mientras se preparan para el nuevo año académico.
