The halls of East High are coming alive on stage this fall as WeGo Community Theatre brings Disney Channel’s smash-hit High School Musical JR. to West Chicago. The production will run November 20–22, 2025, at the Wheaton Academy Fine Arts Center.
Based on the beloved movie musical that became a worldwide phenomenon, High School Musical JR. is packed with high-energy songs, spirited choreography, and a heartfelt story about breaking free from stereotypes and embracing individuality. “This story is about more than just catchy songs,” said Cornelius Marr, production designer. “It’s about celebrating love, friendship, and unity. These students bring so much energy and passion to the stage, and we can’t wait for the community to experience it.”
Performances are scheduled for:
