The National Anthem and WCCHS School Song was performed by members of the Benjamin Middle School band, Leman Middle School and Winfield Middle School band alongside the We-Go High School marching band on Friday, September 9th at the Football Game against the Glenbard East Rams.
The West Chicago football cheerleaders and dance team performed during the game and at halftime. West Chicago’s marching band performed four songs including the school song, “We’re West Chicago”. Musical solos on trumpet were performed by George Kotke and Dominik Mohai. The halftime show is called Piano Man: The Music of Billy Joel. The dance team performed while the band played Uptown Girl.
