The West Chicago Park District has announced dates and details for their popular Halloween events.
Boo Bash
A fun Halloween event will be held at the ARC on Saturday, October 14th , at noon.
Eventgoers can enjoy hayrides, games, activities crafts, and live entertainment. All children must be registered. Adults are free and must accompany children. Pre-registration closes October 13 at 5:00 pm. The cost for the event is $10 for residents, and $ l12 for non-residents with registration or Walk-up at the time of the event is $15.

and the ever-popular Spooky Trail returns yet again this year

Can you survive the haunted trail? Celebrate the night of ghost and ghouls with a .33 miles long through the forest of Reed – Keppler Park.

Pumpkins in the Park
Pumpkins in the Park is a free pop-up activity from Sept. 23 until Oct. 13. The activity encourages the community to visit West Chicago Parks by searching for pumpkin signs. On Monday mornings they reveal a clue for where the signs are placed in the park. No registration is required to participate. All participants have to do is take a picture, tag the West Chicago Park District, and hashtag #WeGoPumpkins to be entered in a drawing to win a $25 West Chicago Park District gift certificate.
