On September 24, West Chicago Community High School (WCCHS) inducted several exceptional individuals into the National Honor Society.
These students, including Xa D. Correa, Jose Cruz, Simran Dave, Kevin Dorl, Julissa Duran, Joselyn Figueroa, Aidan Gerster, Dhanveer Gill, Isaac D. Hernandez, Arely Jacobo, Ava Lowell, Regan Miessler, Vanessa Miguel-Garcia, Zaida Morales-Guerrero, Jayem Nato, Trinity Nelson, Cooper Pensinger, Vanessa Romero-Reyes, Giavanna (Gia) Rotger, Sophia Spinelli, Leah Victoria Stetsik, Jamie Sticha, Ayelin Vellikara, Margaret (Maggie) White, and Emily Ziajor, have demonstrated outstanding achievements in academics and exemplify the core values of the NHS.
An unforgettable highlight of the event was the symbolic lighting of candles, which represented the notion of “lighting the way” for the incoming members. This beautiful gesture encompassed the idea of guiding and inspiring the new inductees to make a positive impact within their school and community.
Their induction serves as a testament to their hard work, dedication, and commitment to excellence.
