West Chicago Community High School Football Recap and Looking Forward To This Week’s Game

Sharing is Caring, WeGo!

“Its always tough when you play a really good team and then you lose 3 really good players.  Robert [Lee] did a tremendous job in the game and ran the ball very hard.  Very proud of him.  This is a really tough opponent this week.  They have some explosive players on both sides of the ball, we will have to play an error free game to have a chance to win.  The team is up for the challenge and will be ready to go friday night.”- West Chicago Community High School Adam Chavez on last Friday’s loss to Glenbard South

It was an intense game with fans bundled up in the stands- unseasonably cold temperatures pervaded the spirit in the stadium. The loss was  a hard one as the team is only one game out of making the playoffs this year. The final score was 48 Glenbard South to West Chicago’s 6. As coach Chavez mentioned, there were injuries but all players are expected to play this coming Friday.
