NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING CONCERNING THE INTENT OF THE BOARD OF EDUCATION OF WEST CHICAGO ELEMENTARY SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 33, DUPAGE COUNTY, ILLINOIS TO EFFECT INTERFUND TRANSFERS PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Education of West Chicago Elementary School District No. 33, DuPage County, Illinois (the “District”) will hold a public hearing on the 4th day of April, 2024 at 7:00 o’clock P.M. in the Community Room at Leman Middle School, 238 E. Hazel Street, West Chicago, Illinois. The purpose of the hearing will be to receive public comments on the proposal to transfer, pursuant to Section 17-2A of the Illinois School Code, the amount of $10,000,000 from the District’s Educational Fund to its Operations and Maintenance Fund to be used for maintaining, improving and repairing school buildings and grounds and expenses related thereto.
