Around noon on Sunday RED Center dispatched The K9 Search and Rescue Strike Team (of which West Chicago k9, Thor and his handler are a part of) . They were dispatched at the request of the Harvard Police Department to aid them in locating a missing child. With almost every resource possible the team headed to Harvard. Fortunately for all parties involved, the child was located shortly after the request for help was made.We all wish for good outcomes for these calls when they happen, and we’re happy the West Chicago Voice can report a positive result in the end.
Alrededor del mediodía del domingo, el Centro RED envió el equipo de ataque de búsqueda y rescate K9 (del cual forman parte West Chicago k9, Thor y su manejador). Fueron enviados a petición del Departamento de Policía de Harvard para ayudarlos a localizar a un niño desaparecido. Con casi todos los recursos posibles, el equipo se dirigió a Harvard. Afortunadamente para todas las partes involucradas, el niño fue localizado poco después de que se hiciera la solicitud de ayuda. Todos deseamos buenos resultados para estas llamadas cuando ocurran, y estamos felices de que West Chicago Voice pueda informar un resultado positivo al final.
