According to Save The Trees Organizers, Midwest Industrial Funds will be going before the Planning and Zoning Committee on Thursday, April 11th at 7:00pm at Geneva City Hall, 109 James St.
Midwest Industrial Funds allegedly is the company responsible for the destruction of countless burr oak trees, some of which were hundreds of years old in Geneva Township.
MIF allegedly rushed to cut these trees down while they were in Geneva Township, because then the Geneva City Tree Ordinance would not apply to them. Now they are looking to annex the land to the City of Geneva. Now there are no more trees on the land that would be left to the jurisdiction of the ordinance.

MIF has allegedly skirted following the rules in a multitude of ways. They have refused to hear the voices of those in the community. They add no value to our community.
Please consider attending this upcoming meeting to show your displeasure with MIF’s actions.
