About The Company

Espresa has a vision to make a better workplace, and that starts with our own company. We’re on a mission to personalize benefits so that all employees feel valued, and we know that means we must value our people.

Espresa is the only personal benefits platform that delivers a mobile-first, global and modern experience for HR, people teams, and employees. With a core focus on Lifestyle Spending Accounts (LSA) and a complimentary, modular suite of solutions focused on total wellbeing, recognition, and community, Espresa powers great places to work while making heroes out of HR teams.

About The Role

Are you a wordsmith passionate about storytelling and a knack for social media? We seek a dynamic and creative Copywriter and Social Media Evangelist to join our team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of our brand’s voice, crafting compelling content that resonates with our audience and drives engagement across multiple platforms.

In This Role, You Will

  • Utilize LinkedIn, X (formerly Twitter), Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok, and Reddit to create engaging and compelling content.
  • Generate innovative ideas and translate them into inspiring and high-quality content.
  • Craft robust, concise, and grammatically correct copy for various formats, from headlines to full-length articles.
  • Flexibly adjust ideas and strategies to meet the needs of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively, exhibiting excellent organizational skills.
  • Develop beautiful collateral and content with a strong willingness to learn from team members and stakeholders.
  • Show enthusiasm for growth and compensate for any experience gaps positively.

You Might Thrive In This Role If You

  • Translate complex ideas into engaging and accessible content, both visually and through the written word.
  • Produce practically perfect copy that captivates the reader, from headlines to comprehensive collateral pieces (don’t worry – we use Grammarly and spell check – even ChatGPT)
  • Embrace feedback to grow and improve, while confidently sharing your own ideas.
  • Work effectively with your team to develop creative strategies while also being capable of independent work.
  • Ensure consistency and alignment with brand identity while contributing to developing a solid social media presence.
  • Generate and execute ideas for innovative marketing campaigns.
  • Use data insights to inform and guide content and campaign strategies.
  • Fearlessly share your ideas and perspectives.
  • Demonstrate exceptional editing abilities and a continuous desire to refine and improve content.

Your background might align with this

  • 1-3 years of experience writing editorial, social, and business copy.
  • Understanding of how to write and create visual assets for SEO.
  • Experience publishing to WordPress.
  • Experience in scheduling social media posts with services such as Hootsuite, Buffer, and the like.
  • Salesforce experience is helpful.
  • Strong interest in the human capital management and HR space, startups, and, of course, adventures and experiences!
  • BA/BS in marketing, social media, a balance of work and education, and a strong resume of experience in lieu of a degree.

What we’d like to see

  • Send a cover letter that provides:
  • What makes you a great candidate, and why would you make the ideal person to add to our small and growing team?
  • Why you think Espresa is a great place for you to grow
  • A 200-character description of you in a nutshell
  • Your proudest achievement to date (doesn’t have to be work-related)
  • Your resume, portfolio of work (if you have one), and social media profiles – it’s okay if you deleted Facebook. We get it.
