Assistant Director of Public Works
The City of Geneva is seeking an Assistant Director to join our team at Public Works. This position supervises the Engineering and GIS divisions and plays a key role in leading both short- and long-term department initiatives.
Under the general supervision of the Director of Public Works, the Assistant Director performs a variety of senior-level management duties including but not limited to; budget preparation and maintenance, implementing and monitoring capital improvement plans, developing requests-for-proposals and identifying grant opportunities, overseeing the department’s safety and regulatory compliance programs and training, hiring, and managing staff.

improvement projects, road construction, and electric and water utilities. We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team and assist with the supervision of several crucial areas of the department, including the Engineering and GIS Divisions. This position plays a key role on our management team and will help shape our city’s future for years to come.

COMPENSATION: Pay is DOQ and starts at $112,200 per year.
