Kent A. Orlandini, age 88, longtime resident of West Chicago, passed away peacefully on July 11, 2024. He was born in Spring Valley, IL on December 26, 1935, to Arthur and Lucille Orlandini. He served our country in the US Army from 1958 to 1960. Kent was united in marriage on November 23, 1963, to Donna Navaressi. He worked over 40 years as a chemist for Argonne National Laboratory. Kent was a longtime member of St. Mary’s Parish in West Chicago and was a former co-vice-president of the West Chicago Historical Society. He had a lifelong love of learning and reading. He was a great student of history and science and enjoyed all things involving the great outdoors.

Kent is survived by Donna, his wife of 60 years; his daughter, Deborah and her husband Richard Mlot; his grandson, Michael Mlot and many loving relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, July 19th, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Church, 164 N. Oakwood Avenue, West Chicago, IL. Private Inurnment will be held at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Spring Valley, IL. For information 630-231-0060 or www.norrissegertfh.com
