The West Chicago Wildcats boys golf team is off to a strong start as they prepare for a busy stretch of matches and tournaments in September. Varsity Team Looks to Build Momentum

The varsity team, featuring a blend of experienced players and up-and-coming talents, is poised to take on a series of challenging opponents in the coming weeks. Led by key players such as Thomas Cabrera (Class of 2025), Alexander Hoffman (Class of 2025), and Sean Folan (Class of 2026), the Wildcats are focused on building momentum and aiming for strong performances in every match.

The Wildcats’ season continues today  (09/04/2024)with a home match against Glenbard East, set to tee off at 4:30 p.m. at St. Andrews Golf Course. The team will quickly pivot to a tri-meet against East Aurora and Elgin on Thursday, September 5, also at St. Andrews Golf Course, starting at 3:00 p.m.

Girls Golf: Wildcats Girls Golf Team Set to Swing into Action

he West Chicago Wildcats girls golf team is gearing up for an exciting season as they prepare to face a series of competitive matches. With a talented roster and a schedule filled with challenging opponents, the Wildcats are ready to showcase their skills and make their mark on the greens this fall.

Promising Lineup Ready to Compete

Led by a dynamic group of players, the Wildcats’ varsity team is a blend of seasoned golfers and rising stars. Key players include Finn Gallagher (Class of 2025), standing tall at 5’10”, and Gianna Jany (Class of 2026), who brings her 5’7″ frame and experience to the team. Newcomers Kayla Cintora (Class of 2027), a promising talent at just 4’11”, and Jayna Vock (Class of 2026), standing at 5’6″, are eager to prove themselves and contribute to the team’s success.

The Wildcats’ season kicks off with an away match against Riverside-Brookfield on Monday, September 9, at 4:00 p.m. at Flagg Creek Golf Course. The team will then travel to face Dundee Crown on Thursday, September 12, with a 4:30 p.m. tee time at Bonnie Dundee Golf Course. As they progress through their season, the Wildcats will host a home match against Glenbard East on Wednesday, September 18, at St. Andrews Golf Course.
