Leonardo Avalos, age 78, of West Chicago, passed away on September 11, 2024. He is survived by his wife, Yolanda; children, Araceli (Guadalupe) Perez, Felipe (Diana) Aurioles, Esther (Otilio) Vasquez and Alejandro (Marlene) Aurioles; 7 grandchildren and 1 brother, Rafael Avalos. Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 15, 2024 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Norris-Segert Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 132 Fremont Street (One block north of Washington St. & Main St.) Funeral Mass was held on Monday, September 16, 2024, at St. Mary’s Church, 164 N. Oakwood Ave., West Chicago, IL at 10:00 a.m. Cremation Private.
