West Chicago, IL- DuPage County residents turned out in large numbers for the general election on Tuesday, with a voter turnout reaching 72.54%. According to the latest data, a total of 455,479 ballots were cast out of 627,899 registered voters in the county.
The county saw a significant share of early voting, with 210,419 ballots cast before Election Day. Vote-by-mail participation was also notable, as 87,005 of the 105,090 requested mail-in ballots were returned and counted. Additionally, 158,055 voters cast their ballots on Election Day, with election officials reporting a 100% completion in tabulation by the end of the day.
DuPage County election officials reported no provisional ballots were needed, suggesting a smooth process for voters across early, mail-in, and in-person options.
