WEST CHICAGO, Ill. — The City of West Chicago will hold its swearing-in ceremony on Monday, May 5, 2025, during the regular City Council meeting at 7 p.m.
The ceremony will formally seat newly elected and re-elected officials, including Daniel Bovey as Mayor. Council members taking the oath of office include Julieta Alcantar-Garcia for Ward 1, Heather Brown for Ward 2, Denise Carreto-Muñoz for Ward 3, Sandy Dimas for Ward 4, Christopher Swiatek for Ward 5, Carlos Avina Soto for Ward 6, and Matt Myers for Ward 7.
A reception is planned to take place immediately following the City Council meeting
