WEST CHICAGO, Ill. — Currier Elementary School is gearing up for a frightfully fun evening as the Currier PTO hosts its 3rd Annual Trunk-or-Treat on Thursday, October 30, from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m.
The much-loved Halloween event invites families and community members to dress up, decorate their vehicles, and hand out candy in a safe and festive setting. The school’s parking lot will be transformed into a Halloween wonderland, featuring creatively themed trunks, colorful costumes, and plenty of treats for all.
Organizers encourage families to participate by volunteering to host a trunk. Those interested can contact Kim Kasza at KimbyK912@gmail.com to reserve a space. Volunteers will receive a spot number prior to the event, and there will be a prize awarded for the best-decorated trunk.
“Events like Trunk-or-Treat bring our school community together in such a fun way,” said Kasza. “It’s wonderful to see the creativity and excitement from students, parents, and staff each year.”
The Currier PTO invites everyone to come out and enjoy an evening filled with laughter, costumes, and candy. The event is free to attend and open to all Currier families and friends.

La Escuela Primaria Currier celebrará su 3er evento anual “Trunk-or-Treat” el 30 de octubre
WEST CHICAGO, Ill. — La Escuela Primaria Currier se prepara para una noche llena de diversión y espíritu comunitario mientras la Organización de Padres y Maestros (PTO, por sus siglas en inglés) organiza su tercer evento anual de Trunk-or-Treat el jueves 30 de octubre, de 5:00 a 6:30 p.m.
Este popular evento de Halloween invita a las familias y miembros de la comunidad a disfrazarse, decorar sus vehículos y repartir dulces en un ambiente seguro y festivo. El estacionamiento de la escuela se transformará en un colorido escenario lleno de decoraciones creativas, disfraces, risas y muchas golosinas.
Los organizadores animan a las familias a participar como voluntarios decorando la cajuela (o “trunk”) de su vehículo. Quienes deseen participar pueden comunicarse con Kim Kasza al correo electrónico KimbyK912@gmail.com para reservar un espacio. Los voluntarios recibirán su número de lugar antes del evento, y habrá un premio especial para el vehículo mejor decorado.
“Eventos como el Trunk-or-Treat unen a nuestra comunidad escolar de una manera divertida,” comentó Kasza. “Es maravilloso ver la creatividad y el entusiasmo de los estudiantes, padres y personal cada año.”
La PTO de Currier invita a todos a disfrutar de una tarde de dulces, disfraces y convivencia familiar. La entrada es gratuita y abierta a todas las familias y amigos de Currier.
