Violet R. Falzone, beloved wife of the late Tom Falzone and age 91, passed away peacefully on May 19, 2024. Born on March 23, 1933, in Chicago, Violet was a beacon of love, kindness and unwavering strength.Violet dedicated her life to her family, instilling values of compassion, integrity, and resilience. As a devoted mother, she was always there to offer support, wisdom, and an open heart.
Her home was a sanctuary filled with warmth, laughter, and the aroma of her “Gravy and Meatballs”.
Violet is survived by her children, Tom M. Falzone and his wife, Carol Falzone, Sue Cory and her husband, Duncan Cory and Char Theiner and her husband, Dave Theiner. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Aaron Lill and family, Carly Almaguer and family, Duncan Cory Jr., Jennifer Adam and family, Valerie Kroger and family and David Theiner and family, all of whom will forever cherish her memory and strive to live by the principles she so gracefully embodied.
Her passion for family and friends touched the lives of many and left an indelible mark in our hearts.
Friends and family are invited to celebrate Vi’s life at a memorial service to be held on Friday, May 31, 2024, at Heritage Presbyterian Church (965 Kuhn Road, Carol Stream, IL 60188) at 10:30 AM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Elara Hospice (elara.com) or Juvenile Diabetes (jdrf.org) in Vi’s honor.
Vi’s legacy of love, kindness, and dedication will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate to know her. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
