Geraldine Pieczatkiewicz, age 91, of Illinois passed away peacefully on Monday, September 1, 2025. She was surrounded by her family and loved ones.

Geri was born on August 30, 1934, in Chicago, IL and graduated from Lucy Flower High School in Chicago.

Geri married her first love, Frank Pieczatkiewicz, Jr., also of Chicago, in 1953. Geri was a homemaker and enjoyed raising her three children. Geri enjoyed crafting of all sorts, sewing, and baking and decorating cakes. She operated a small business from home for many years, baking and decorating Wedding Cakes for many Brides from local suburbs. She later worked part-time, as a Cashier for Jewel Food Store until she retired after 20 years of service.

Geri was also involved in various Bible studies, at whatever local church that she happened to be attending at the time. Geri gave her life to Jesus Christ, as her Savior and Lord, in her early 20’s, and loved learning about and serving Him in whatever capacity needed.

Preceded in death by her husband, Frank Pieczatkiewicz, Jr., in 2021. She is survived by her son, Frank (Laura) Pieczatkiewicz III, and her daughters Dawn (Scott) Filline and Lisa (Josh) Fodge. Her six grandchildren, Kelly, Joey, Tommy, Scotty, Daniel and Benjamin, and her seven great-grandchildren, Kori, Chloe, Logan, Liam, Lincoln, Eloise and Emma. She is also survived by her brother Dennis (Georgene) Chadra. She will be missed by all, more than any words can say.

Her Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, Sept. 27, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at Norris-Segert Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 132 Fremont Street, West Chicago, IL. 60185. Memorial Visitation will begin at 1:00 until time of her memorial service at 2:00 p.m.
