Steven C. Scaccianoce, age 62, of Genoa, IL, passed away September 16, 2023. He was born on May 4, 1961, in Chicago, IL to Salvatore and Concetta Scaccianoce. Steve was a graduate of Elgin High School where he was involved in wrestling. He loved sports and was a Chicago Bears and Chicago Cubs fan. Steve enjoyed music and was a bass player in his band Stone Fate. His hobbies were collecting comic books, baseball cards, and coins. He had many talents; Steve’s artistic nature was used to help put on the dance recitals his daughters and other students participated in for many years, which included set design and lighting. His favorite place to eat was Portillos.

Steve is survived by his daughters, Samantha, Heidi, and Gina Scaccianoce; sisters, Rhonda McVey, and Debra (Robert) Scianna; nephews, Brian (Renee) McVey and DJ (Rebecca) McVey and relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Mary and Josephine, and brother, Salvatore.

A memorial visitation will be held on Friday, September 22, 2023 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Norris-Segert Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 132 Fremont St., (one block north of Washington St. and Main St.) West Chicago, IL 60185.
