Roberta Z. Hall went home to be with the Lord on June 24, 2024, at Northwestern Medicine Central DuPage Hospital. She was born on April 22, 1930, in New Brighton, Pennsylvania and lived in Wheaton for 60 years. Her career was in the medical field where she was an electrocardiogram and lab technician at Central DuPage Hospital in Wheaton. One year she was named Employee of the Year at CDH.
In her retirement, her joys were her love for the Chicago Bulls, planting flowers, her puppies, and most importantly, her family. Roberta (Bobbie) is survived by her dog, Mandy, and by her daughter Sherrill Leensvaart (husband William), her son Robert, her son William, and her daughter Cathy Graves (husband Gary). Roberta is also survived by her Granddaughter Christie Sommers (husband Scott) with Great-Grandchildren Makenna, Skya, and Kashton, her Granddaughter Carrie Bethke (husband Phillip), and her Granddaughter Shalyn Lazuka (husband Joseph) with Great-Granddaughters Sayge & Skylin. Roberta was preceded in death by Robert E. Hall, her loving husband of 76 years. Visitation is Thursday, June 27 th, 2024 from 4-7pm at Williams-Kampp Funeral Home, 430 E. Roosevelt Rd., Wheaton, IL 60187. A private funeral for the family will be held on Friday followed by Entombment at Chapel Hill Gardens West Cemetery.
